At Our Lady of Hartley Catholic Primary School, we firmly believe that regular attendance is crucial if our pupils are to succeed as learners and make the most of their school experiences. It is an expectation that all pupils attend school regularly and punctually.

Attendance Tiger and Punctuality Penguin are awarded to the class(es) with the highest percentage of attendance and punctuality each week during whole school prayer and liturgy sessions.
Consistent attendance is the foundation of a successful education. We aim for all our students to achieve at least 96% attendance throughout the school year.

Every Minute Counts
Punctuality is just as important as attendance. Arriving just 5 or 10 minutes late every day adds up to a staggering amount of lost time over a school year.

5 Minutes Late each day = 3 days of school lost a year.

10 Minutes Late each day = 6.5 days of school lost a year.
